Mizoram



Mizoram is a one of the Seven Sister State of the North East India. The word of “Mizo” means highlander.  Its capital is a Aizawl. In Mizoram State the biggest river is Chhimtuipui, is also known as Kaladan. This state literacy rate is 91.58%. In this state 60% people depended on agriculture.  

Mizoram state has 8 districts:-  Aizwal, Lunglei, Chhimtuipui, Lawngtlai, Mamit, Kolasib, Serchhip and Champhai. In Mizoram the principal crop is paddy and others are maize, cucumber, beans, arum, ginger, mustard, sesame, cotton etc. The food of this state differs from other country. Mizoram people are mostly non-vegetarian and eat meet.
