the south-west region of India. It was formed on 1 November 1956. Kerala is the
state with the lowest positive population growth rate in India. Kerala has
highest literacy rate that is of 95.5% of its whole population. Malayalam is
the most widely spoken and official language of the state.

Thiruvananthapuram. Major cities include Kochi, Kozhikode, Kollam. A strip of land between the Arabian Sea and its perfect
