Andaman and Nicobar Islands are a group
of islands and are a Union Territory of India. Andaman and Nicobar Islands comprises two island groups, Andaman
Islands and Nicobar Islands. Andaman and Nicobar Islands
have been populated by people of various backgrounds. 48,675 of land is used
for agriculture purposes.
The main food is Paddy , coconut and arecanut are the
cash crops of Nicobar islands. In Nicobar Islands pulses, oilseeds vegetables
are grown. Different kinds of fruits such as mango, orange, banana, papaya,
pineapple and root crops are grown by farmers.
Nicobar you can come across the rivers Alexandra, ,
Danes, Galathea and Dogmar. National Park in Andaman and Nicobar is Mahatma
Gandhi Marine National Park.
